Honoring the next generation of American innovators, Intel Corporation today (Mar. 11) announced the winners of a pre-college science competition, the Intel Science Talent Search. Eric Larson, 17, of Eugene, Ore., won the top award, a $100,000 scholarship from the Intel Foundation.
Eric won for his research project classifying mathematical objects called fusion categories.
